Peter co-founded Ethos to make life insurance more accessible and affordable for everyone. Prior to Ethos, Peter was CEO of Ovid Corp., an insurance auction platform that was acquired in 2019. He holds a BA in Philosophy from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Lingke is Co-Founder and President of Ethos, where he oversees the technology and insurance teams. Prior to Ethos, Lingke co-founded Ovid Corp. with Peter. He began his career at Morgan Stanley. Lingke holds a BS in Applied Mathematics–Economics and Mechanical Engineering from Brown University and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Chris Capozzi is CFO at Ethos, leading Finance, Legal, and Human Resources. Previously, Chris served in executive leadership positions, including Partner and CFO at Quiet Capital, COO and CFO at Achieve, and Chief Risk Officer at General Electric. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Boston College and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Kunal is SVP of Finance, where he leads Financial Strategy and Business Operations. He brings over 20 years of experience across large global enterprises and high-growth companies. Before Ethos, Kunal held leadership roles at Adobe and DocuSign. He holds a BS in Computer Science from UCLA and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Vipul has served as CTO at Ethos since July 2021. Prior to Ethos, he founded Simppler, an employee referral platform that was later acquired. He also led engineering teams at Indeed.com and Eventbrite. Vipul holds a BS in Computer Science from the College of Engineering Roorkee and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Houston.

Troy leads a team developing tailored and profitable insurance solutions. Under his leadership, Ethos has expanded its product range, increased sales volume, and advanced underwriting processes. Previously, Troy was Chief Actuary at Legal & General America (now Banner Life and William Penn). He holds a BS from the University of Texas at Austin.

Allyson leads communication strategy and strategic planning at Ethos. She previously served as VP of Marketing & Comms at Wunderman Thompson. Allyson holds a BA in Psychology and Communications from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of San Francisco.

Hemant brings more than two decades of experience in information security, privacy engineering and risk management. Before joining Ethos, he was VP and CISO at Bill.com. Hemant holds a BS in Computer Science from the IIT-Roorkee and has earned professional certifications, including the Stanford Advanced Computer Security Certificate.

Nichole oversees underwriting strategy, execution, and expansion. Prior to Ethos, she was SVP and Underwriting Innovation Lead for the Americas at Swiss Re, and she held senior roles at MIB Solutions Inc. and MetLife. Nichole holds a BA in Psychology from the Univ. of Rhode Island and an MS in Behavioral Economics from The Chicago School.

Porter is General Counsel at Ethos, leading the company’s Legal and Compliance teams. Prior to Ethos, he worked on the corporate legal team at Amazon and served as a Major in the U.S. Army Reserve JAG Corps. Porter holds a BA in History from the University of Virginia, as well as JD and MBA degrees from Tulane University.

Brett leads insurance operations. Before Ethos, he spent 16 years at Old Mutual Limited, where he held roles including Chief Actuary of the China joint venture and CFO of the Latin America division. Brett holds a BS in Actuarial Science from the Univ. of Cape Town, an MS in Management from Stanford GSB, and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.

Prassath leads the D2C business, where he creates breakthrough consumer experiences. Before Ethos, Prassath built and scaled multiple advertising and consumer product lines at Meta and Twitch. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from PSG College of Technology and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Matt is CDO at Ethos, responsible for independent distribution and building the fast-growing partnerships business. Prior to Ethos, Matt held leadership roles at Corebridge Financial, where he led all life insurance distribution, and Brokerage Distribution at Lincoln Financial. He holds a BA in Philosophy and Religious Studies from UC Berkeley.
